We use AI tools in our day-to-day work ā for research, draft copy, imagery and technical analysis. This page sets out openly where that happens, how we handle it, and what measures we take to ensure AI literacy across our team.
It is grounded in Article 4 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), applicable since 2 February 2025, which requires providers and deployers alike to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among everyone operating AI systems on their behalf.
We are a deployer of third-party AI systems. We do not develop AI models and we do not place generative AI systems on the market.
In practice that means the machine-readable marking duty for synthetic content under Article 50(2) sits with the providers of the models we use, not with us. Our obligations are AI literacy under Article 4 and, where it applies, disclosure under Article 50(4).
